Monica Ripoll Tyrrell was born in Salta, but she grew up in Misiones, Argentina. She studied in prestigious private schools in different cities around her home country. She followed a family tradition in teaching by becoming an English as a Foreign Language teacher for secondary schools. For over fifteen years, she taught in fine language, private and public schools; as well as official entities and businesses. She was part of the Instituto San Fernando Rey's staff where she instructed large classes of student teachers. Monica is also an experienced translator in a variety of fields like medical, business and literary. The translation into Spanish of William Mastrosimone's Bang Bang You're Dead and Sleepwalk can be cited among her works. In 2005 she moved to the States to start a new life and now lives in Renton, Washington with her husband, John, and three of their kids. Spanish Language Services is a home based business that strives to translate Monica's warm impulse into top quality personalized service.

"Monica has done a terrific job with my corporate newsletter translation.  Not, only was she very quick, accurate and affordable,  I really felt that she was vested into preserving the feel of the newsletter, adjusted graphics as necessary and pulled it together quite wonderfully.  I’ll be using her on an ongoing basis and have already referred her onto a few other projects.  Thank you for one less thing to worry about!"
